Walking in the Power of the Spirit

Weekly Prayer Focus

“He is Risen—and so are we.”
Because of the resurrection, we are no longer ruled by the power of sin or the weight of condemnation. We now walk under the law of the Spirit—a higher way, a freer way, a resurrected way.

Scripture

Romans 8:1–2 (ESV)

“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.”

Devotion

The resurrection didn’t just rescue us—it relocated us.

We have been transferred out from under the law of sin and death and placed under a new authority—the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus.

That means your guilt doesn’t get the final word.
Shame doesn’t get to linger in your story.
Sin no longer has dominion over you.

Because of the cross, the penalty was paid.
Because of the resurrection, the power of the grave was broken.
And because of the Spirit, you are empowered to live differently—to walk in freedom, not by your own strength, but by the indwelling presence of God.

This is the gospel:
You are in Christ. You are free. You are alive.
And now, you walk in the Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead.

Prayer Focus

  • Thank Jesus for the victory of the resurrection and the freedom you now have in Him.

  • Invite the Holy Spirit to fully lead your thoughts, choices, and habits.

  • Intercede for believers who still live under condemnation or religious striving—that they would encounter grace and truth.

  • Pray for Harvest Revival Center to be a house where people are raised up to walk fully in the Spirit.

Declaration

I am in Christ Jesus—and there is no condemnation over me.
The law of the Spirit of life has set me free.
I am not ruled by shame or sin.
I walk in resurrection power.
Holy Spirit, lead me today—I choose to live by You.
