Take a Stand: Vote This Tuesday, November 5th
Dear Church Family,
This Tuesday, November 5th, marks a significant opportunity for us as followers of Christ and as citizens of this nation. We are at a pivotal moment, not only politically but spiritually, and our responsibility to vote extends beyond civic duty—it’s an act of faith. As we prepare to head to the polls, let’s be reminded of our God-given calling to be a light in our nation, standing for truth, righteousness, and the freedoms He has blessed us with.
A Critical Moment for Our Nation’s Future
For over a century, there has been a gradual erosion of the values that once defined our nation. Today, we are confronted with ideologies and policies that increasingly push faith out of the public sphere and marginalize the Church. Just as we learned on Sunday in Elder Jeff’s presentation of “The Return of the American Church,” America’s covenantal foundation is a call for the Church to rise up and be a driving force in society, defending freedom, establishing justice, and bearing the light of Christ.
This election, we have the chance to take a stand for these values. Together, we can protect our freedoms and influence the direction of our communities by voting for candidates who honor God’s principles and uphold our constitutional rights.
A United Call to Action
I urge each of you to vote this Tuesday and to vote with a biblical perspective. To help guide your decisions, we have prepared voter guides for each county we serve, provided by the Ohio Republican Party. These guides will help you identify candidates and issues that align with our shared values.
One critical measure on the ballot is Issue 1, which stands in direct opposition to our values as a Church. I encourage each of you to vote NO on Issue 1.
Answering the Call Together
This is a historic moment, and our participation has the potential to shape the future of our nation. As we discussed in “The Return of the American Church,” we are the modern patriots God has called to engage, to stand up for His truth, and to ensure the freedoms we cherish are passed down to future generations. Let’s seize this moment together, recognizing that our vote represents both our civic and spiritual convictions.
In the past, we’ve seen how political apathy can allow opposing values to gain ground, creating a vacuum filled by ideologies contrary to God’s ways. This is why voting isn’t just about a single day; it’s about our long-term impact as God’s people in this nation. Our country is facing decisions that will impact our children, our communities, and our ability to live out our faith openly.
Join Us in Voting for a Godly Future
This Tuesday, let’s vote with purpose, unity, and conviction. Bring a friend, go as a family, and let your vote reflect our shared faith. Together, we will remind our community, our state, and our nation that we are not only citizens of America but citizens of God’s Kingdom. Your voice matters, and together, we can make an incredible difference.
God bless you as you stand for His truth, and may He continue to bless our nation.
