Choosing Faith Over Fear

Faith over fear

Main Passage: 2 Timothy 1:7 (ESV)
"For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control."

Devotion

Fear has kept many from stepping into the promises of God. When the Israelites saw the giants in the land, they allowed fear to paralyze their faith (Numbers 13:30-33). The result? They wandered for 40 years instead of walking in their destiny.

Many today remain stuck in fear, doubt, and hesitation, unwilling to take the next step of faith. But God has given us a spirit of power, love, and self-control! Today, we choose faith over fear, trusting that if God has called us, He will make a way.

Prayer Directive

  • Pray for strength to step forward in faith despite obstacles or uncertainty.

  • Ask God to remove fear and doubt that keeps you from your calling.

  • Declare that the spirit of power, love, and a sound mind will lead your decisions.

Declarations & Decrees

  • We decree that fear will not dictate our destiny!

  • We declare that we will walk in faith, trusting God’s promises!

  • We proclaim that the giants in the land will not intimidate us—we are victorious in Christ!
