A Message from Dr. John Looper of RFI to Harvest Revival Center

Dr. John Looper, Pastor and Founder of Restoration Fellowship International, reached out to share the following words with our church after our time of fasting and the dedication of our newly expanded altar.

Dr. Looper shared:
“As I was meditating and listening to your dedication of the newly expanded altar in your church, after your’s and your congregation’s many days of fasting, the Lord gave me the following words and verses for you:

The Lord says now that as you have fasted and prayed, filled with the Spirit, you must do battle through My Word to conquer the tempter seeking to diminish and sidetrack you from what I have anointed you and your congregation to do. Just as I battled the Devil after my fasting, by rightly dividing the Word of Truth, so will you send him packing through the Word of God.
Be fearless, but do not bring railing accusations against the enemy, but simply say the Lord rebukes you. As I came up out of the wilderness in the power of the Holy Spirit, be faithful in these things and you will see my glory in 2025 and beyond!
’”

Dr. Looper also provided these scriptures from Luke 4:1-14 as a foundation for his message:

  • Luke 4:1-2: “And Jesus, being full of the Holy Ghost, returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.”

  • Luke 4:3-4: “And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread. And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.”

  • Luke 4:5-8: “And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.”

  • Luke 4:9-12: “And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.”

  • Luke 4:13-14: “And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season. And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.”

We pray these words from Dr. Looper encourage you as you continue walking faithfully with the Lord. May we, like Christ, remain steadfast, relying on God’s Word to overcome every obstacle and fulfill His calling in our lives.
